Glow Festival is thrilled to be partnering with Pure Yoga to offer 6 different yoga zones: Specialised yoga, Grounding and Strengthening, Dynamic flow, Healing and Meditation, Masterclasses and Family yoga.

Each zone will have a different goal in mind, and several different classes to choose from but they will all give you an inner Glow that will stay with you for the whole day and night.

Pure Yoga created the Specialised Yoga zone for practitioners who are interested in learning about a specific area of aspect of yoga, or want to train a specific area of the body.

The first class in this zone is a special class designed with the runner’s body in mind. The focus is on stretching the areas that are typically tight, including the hamstrings, IT band and hips; strengthening the weak areas, like the core and upper body; and restoring some of the typically sore areas like the lower back.

Next will be a level 1 Ashtanga class. It will be a dynamic class, comprising the classical form of Vinyasa Yoga as taught in its traditional sequence. It combines power and flexibility with movement, bandhas and breath, to produce an energetic and detoxifying practice. The Ashtanga opening chant is an intrinsic part of this Yoga tradition and N included in this class.

The next specialised class focuses on the practice of inversions. Strengthening and stabilising postures are practised as a way to prepare the body for these poses and build its internal support. The class emphasises headstand, handstand, forearm balance and shoulderstand, as well as variations of these poses.

And finally there will be a partner yoga class. The word ‘yoga’ means to yoke or Mon in Sanskrit, and this is exactly what this class aims to achieve – a uniting of two people. The postures and flow sequences are designed in a way to create and nurture trust, strengthen communication and even create a sense of laughter and light-heartedness. So grab a partner, or make a new yoga buddy in this fun, fabulous way of letting go.

You can sign up for the workshops you want to join on the day, we will release the schedule here on the website first so make sure you sign up for the newsletter
